How fast is 5G versus 4G? 5G is much, much faster than 4G. Average 5G speeds seem to be between 3 and 6 times faster than average 4G speeds based on the available data, with peak 5G speeds being far faster still What’s 5G? 5G stands for Fifth-Generation wireless communication technology. And "LTE" stands for Long Term Evolution and is a technology that approaches 4G. 5G technology is not a replacement for 4G, so you will see 5G and LTE technology working together in the near future. 5G vs 4G speeds comparison 5G has faster connection speeds than 4G LTE because of its wider range and use of more advanced radio technology. It also has lower latency than 4G, making apps less laggy. Simply put, 5G has much faster data upload/download speeds compared to older technologies. When it comes to 5g speed vs 4g speed , theoretically, the maximum download speed of 5G ranges from 1Gbps to 10Gbps with a delay of 10 milliseconds, which is much faster compared to 4G's current max download...
